I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the lovely clients and volunteers at Uncommon Threads, a non-profit organization in Lawrence, MA, last week for their monthly self-empowerment event.
Uncommon Threads is not your average clothing program. Founded by Susan Kanoff in 2016, the organization helps more than 1,200 low-income women annually with self-esteem styling, workforce styling , bundle up and emergency clothing, and positive empowerment skills-building.
The special event featured make up from Flyte.70, a company founded by Elena Frankel and Carolyn Barber in Boston, MA. Both Elena and Carolyn were actually present for the event and helped the ladies get glammed up for their photoshoot! The event attendees went home with fresh faces and fun sample products from Flyte.70. I even got treated to a nice goodie bag!
All of the women I met were beautiful inside and out and I had so much fun capturing their gorgeous faces! I hope you enjoy these photos!
